David Parks-Ramage is a minister in the United Church of Christ who studies Zen with the Pacific Zen Institute. He leads two interfaith groups exploring the use of traditional and Christian koans for the transformation of consciousness. These groups meet on Wednesday evenings at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Santa Rosa.
David also leads Christian/Zen retreats, co-sponsored by the church and PZI. He is particularly interested in the use of Jesus' parables, sayings and doings, as koans.
